I know that Pansy's are typically a spring flower especially here in Minnesota but I haven't had the heart to dump them..... until they started looking like this. I know you can cut them back and give them some time to recover and grow again but honestly our growing season is pretty short here so I dumped them!
And replaced them with this box of pretties!
I reused the containers that the pansy's came in, they match the house, why wouldn't I.

Not bad huh? I gave them a good dose of fertilizer to get them moving along and before I know it they will be full like all the other planters are. And a bonus, the flowers are priced to move at the garden centers.
