Plaid is timeless. Buffalo Check originated from none other than Woolrich Woolen Mills. The company began producing the Buffalo Check shirt around 1850. You can find it on so many other items. I have 3 Buffalo Check shirts and countless pieces adorned with the beloved Buffalo Check print. Christmas decorating seems to take on a more natural feel when you decorate with plaids. I wonder if that's because you often see plaid in outdoor settings. But the timelessness adds to the memories you recall when you see these plaids.
