My front porch is very very small so I've just got 2 spruce tip containers crammed up next to the side light windows. I threw some white lights on them and at night they look really pretty. Given there isn't much space out there you brush up against them every time you come in the house. By Valentines Day i'll need to pitch them or I have needles everywhere. I've always loved decorating the front porch. It seems a glimmer of what's to come after you walk through the door. When there is snow out there it looks so magical.
