I hit the Dollar Store and found these cute margarita glasses and I knew I could make them cooler!
They are made of heavy glass so they feel really beefy.
The cactus base is cute but I new I could "cute them up" a bit more.
I knew I wanted just 3 fun, summer time, festive colors. Popped in to Michael's, everyone's favorite craft store, and picked just these 3. I think they look great with the green stem.
Don't you agree? This one is mine. I go out of town every year with a group of women to a cabin up north and we have an occasional drink so I made one for everyone!
These were super easy to make. And very inexpensive. Dollar Store glasses for literally a dollar and the paint from Michael's is less the $3.00 a tube. These would be a very fun house warming gift or a hostess gift. Get a fun metal bucket and some margarita mix and tequila and put it all together in a bucket with some hand painted glasses that you made with love! So the gals will all get their own margarita glasses on this years trip! I think they turned out really cute...
