I love decorating with fruits and vegetables and flowers and greens from my landscaping. It's inexpensive and it looks really cool. With fall not quite here but just around the corner I know some of you are anxious to get started with just a little fall decorating. Here is some inspiration using apples.

Isn't this just beautiful? I love place settings and putting them together. For me that's almost as good as the party. The prep is the best.

Simple, pretty center piece. So lovely.

Candles carved into apples? Yes.

A creative idea for table decor at an event. Supply paper bags at the end of the evening and have your guests take some home.

Sleek and sophisticated.

The mantel of any room should always be loved and adorned.

How cute is this? It's either in a warm climate, out of cold weather season or fake!
What ever it is, it's really cute.

I have a GREEAT caramel recipe for dipping apples and what not's. See below.

THE VERY BEST CARAMEL DIP. EVER!!
1 14oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter cut up
(no substitutes)
1/3 cup light colored corn syrup
1/2 tsp of vanilla
2-3 TBSP of coffee liquor
In a heavy medium sized saucepan combine the sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Cook and stir over low heat until melted and heated through. Remove from heat. Stir in liquor until smooth.
So so sooooooo good!!
