The other night I had a Valentines dinner gathering with my girl friends. One of the gals attending just lost her husband 2 1/2 weeks ago and I wanted to do something relaxing and fun for her. So I pulled together a dozen of her closest friends and I made a big pot of veggie soup, chocolate chip cookies. A big heart shaped brownie and a lot of red wine!
I bought Dollar Store wine glasses and painted each persons name on the stem and then they all took them home. It was a fun night of reflection, a few tears and some time just hanging out and supporting each other.

I packed up cookies and other surprises in these boxes for everyone to take home. I love doing stuff like that for people.
