Although tulips are not my favorite flower, sunflowers being first, they are a close second. With all the colors available it's a slice of optimism right smack in the middle of the florists or grocery store.
They aren't real fragrant they smell a little bit like a rose. But when I opened the paper they were wrapped in, the fragrance was divine.
Maybe a trip to Holland should be on my spring to do list.
If your feeling the winter blahs a bouquet or 2 or 3 might be the pick-me-up you need. On your work desk, on your night stand and on the vanity in your bathroom they bring an instant smile.
