Christmas is filled with baked goods. I love doing my part with my sibling's. Since our mother died 3 years ago my sister and my 2 brothers and I bake the cookies our mum made for so many years and we exchange them with each other. We use containers we gathered from each other the year before, I always buy fancy new ones.... and we count out the cookies, touching all of them with our hands and going through another Christmas with memories of our mothers cookie recipes. It's all very casual but we love it.
As a designer, I love a well laid out dessert table. The colors, the different heights, the smells, the cake stands and the endless variety of sweets to choose from. I'm always looking for new ways to entertain and display food and desserts.
